SINOBRAS Florestal, a company of the Aço Cearense Group, has opened applications for the Technical Call for Intelligent Fire Prevention and Monitoring, an initiative that is part of the Inovar Program and seeks to identify technological solutions capable of improving the prevention and detection of fires in the company's forest areas.
The call is aimed at startups, companies, universities, research centers, and suppliers specializing in technologies such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, and environmental monitoring. The goal is to find alternatives that expand the coverage of monitored areas, reduce the time it takes to identify potential incidents, and contribute to faster and more accurate responses.
Currently, SINOBRAS Florestal uses observation towers and satellite monitoring systems to track its operational areas. With this initiative, the company intends to evaluate new technologies that can complement these resources, bringing greater efficiency, reliability, and monitoring capacity to an area of approximately 48,000 hectares.
In addition to contributing to the improvement of forestry operations, this call represents an opportunity for connection between the Aço Cearense Group and the innovation ecosystem. Participants will be able to present their solutions to company specialists and, according to the evaluation stages, participate in proof-of-concept and pilot projects in a real operational environment.
