Instituto Aço Cearense contributes to the development of partner NGOs

Instituto Aço Cearense contribui com o desenvolvimento de ONG`s parceiras

With the current economic crisis, NGOs are reducing services and benefits to people who rely solely on them. To contribute to fundraising and maintain community activities, the Instituto Aço Cearense held a Social Project Development Workshop for NGOs in the auditorium of Aço Cearense Comercial.

The initiative was supported by Dialogus Consultoria and aims to train NGOs supported by the Instituto Aço Cearense to build social projects in an orderly and more professional manner. Although social organizations are non-profit and non-profit, building and maintaining a structure that provides quality social services requires considerable professionalism and investment. "The workshop was a preparation for seeking financial resources and thus maintaining and implementing projects. More than providing financial support, we want these institutions to develop. It's not enough to simply want to do something; you need to know how to do it to grow," said Rosemeire Matos, President of the Instituto Aço Cearense.

These organizations provide free services to underserved communities, and the most common way to secure these resources is through social projects to secure financial support and donations. "Well-designed projects are better able to achieve better results and ensure the achievement of the organizations' objectives," commented workshop instructor Manoela Silva of Diálogos Consultoria, who has worked with companies such as Associação Hapvida, Cagece, Incor Criança, Mercadinhos São Luís, Instituto Aço Cearense, and others.

The following institutions currently receiving monthly financial support from the Instituto Aço Cearense participated in the training: Escola de Campeões, Creche Amadeu Barros Leal, JA Ceará, ABENJ, Cepevive, Associação São Vicente de Paulo, Lar de Clara, and Pequeno Cotolengo, totaling 18 representatives. "I thought the initiative was excellent and think it should happen more often. A state call for proposals has even been issued, and this course will already help in project preparation," said Enoe Araripe Autran, vice president of Creche Amadeu Barros Leal. Certificates will be awarded to course participants at the end of June, after each project is completed and submitted to the IAC.
