The collaborating athletes sponsored by the Instituto Aço Cearense stood out in the events they participated in in June, demonstrating that it is possible to combine sport with work.
Lisandra Dantas, a Contracting employee at Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz, highlights a phrase that motivates her: "Always remember, your focus determines your reality." With this mindset, she continues training steadfastly, aiming for new podium finishes. She participated in the II Eusébio Half Marathon, held on the 23rd, placing first in the 18-29 age group and fourth overall. The race drew 5,000 participants and is already part of the Ceará sports calendar as one of the largest running events in the state.
Gilberto Silva, a Services employee at Aço Cearense Comercial and a paracyclist from Ceará, traveled to Diadema, São Paulo, to participate in the Brazilian stage of the Pan American Road Paracycling Circuit, which took place from the 14th to the 16th of this month. He finished 5th in the time trial. The circuit is one of the main events on the national calendar and counts points for national and international rankings. "Thank you to my sponsors and God for this opportunity to participate in another international event. It's never easy, but I always try to do my best and bring medals home to Ceará," the athlete remarked.
