This month, Grupo Aço Cearense reached the milestone of 1 million tons of steel purchased from Usiminas since 2015. To celebrate this impressive number and also Customer Day, the Group's President, Vilmar Ferreira, was invited by the Minas Gerais steelmaker to tell the story of this successful partnership in a video released to all Usiminas employees.
The company also presented a trophy and a commemorative steel coil, as a symbolic way to represent the receipt of the millionth ton of steel supplied to Grupo Aço Cearense.
Usiminas supplies thin cold, thin hot and galvanized coils to Aço Cearense, which uses them as raw materials to produce various products such as pipes, profiles, flat and articulated sheets, coils, frames, wainscoting and door bars.
