Next Saturday (21), the street racing athlete sponsored by Instituto Aço Cearense, Lisandra Dantas, will be in Natal-RN to participate in one of the most disputed races in the Northeast, the Meia Maratona do Sol.
The race is the largest sporting event in the state of Rio Grande do Norte and has been held in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte since 2014. In the fifth edition of the Half Marathon, in September 2018, the event brought together more than 7,500 registered athletes from all over Brazil and several other countries, running in three different challenges: 21 km, 10 km and 5 km.
Lisandra, who is preparing to run the 5km Sol Half Marathon, has been a road runner since 2016 and has already accumulated 18 podium finishes. "I'm looking forward to this race, as I've been waiting for it since the beginning of the year. I've been training hard to achieve this podium finish," she commented.
