Some habits are here to stay, and Grupo Aço Cearense is reinforcing the use of digital platforms to communicate with employees, including when it comes to well-being.
To contribute to physical and mental health at the five companies that make up the Group in Ceará, Pará, and Tocantins, initiatives such as meditation, workplace exercise, and nutritional tips have been introduced. All meetings are online, bringing together employees from different locations and even states in the same activity.

"We're also investing in workplace gymnastics to help improve our employees' quality of life. They'll have the option to participate live or choose a more convenient time, as the classes will be saved on our platform.
This movement involved the participation of managers, who were able to contribute with suggestions,” added Eliana Freitas, Quality of Life and Benefits Coordinator.

This strategy was designed as a way to contribute to the health of employees, improving immunity and providing guidance on habits that should be adopted and intensified at the current time.
Human Resources Manager Valquíria Ferreira explains that these initiatives were designed to support the COVID-19 pandemic. "We've always been attentive to our employees' physical and psychological well-being and strive to actively contribute."
Their well-being in terms of emotional health and nutritional care also affects the work environment, their mood, and their professional relationships,” explains the manager.
