On 12/11 the 2nd edition of the Safety Ideas Meeting took place at Aço Cearense Industrial Matriz with the theme “What changes the result are the actions”During the event, which was organized by CIPA, Aço Cearense employees presented safety improvement projects for processes and equipment and were evaluated and recognized by company management.
CIPA President Kenny Ralph commented: “The ideas contribute to developing a culture of innovation in the company. This year, we saw an increase in the number of participants with creative and ingenious projects designed by our employees. We are very optimistic about the next edition in 2020."
The projects were classified based on the criteria of effectiveness in preventing accidents, creativity, and cost of improvement. These criteria were divided into two categories: areas that have already participated and those participating for the first time. See the results:
